Automate sending slack message

I am creating a quick flow, to send send slack message and/ or email. For both, flow waits for user approval before sending the message/ email. How can I automate that step so that the flow does not wait for user input?

Hi @shobhit

Welcome to the Quick Suite community!

Quick Flows require manual approval by design for actions like sending Slack messages or emails, but you can automate this through scheduling with the Run with no confirmation option.

Set up a schedule for your Quick Flow to run automatically at specified times, such as daily or weekly. During schedule creation, enable Run with no confirmation in the action permissions step this auto submits forms for actions (like Slack/email sends) without waiting for user input.

This works for flows you own or those shared with you, using default inputs you provide. You’ll get email notifications for successful runs, failures, or if input/authentication is needed.

Hey @Xclipse that option is not available. Is there a team we could speak to receive the necessary permissions to have the Run with no confirmation option?

Hi Team,

Thanks for reaching out! The “Run with no confirmation” option is only available when both of the following conditions are met:

  1. When you’re configuring in Quick Flow schedule (not possible for on-demand Flow execution) and
  2. Only for write-back actions (eg. Send email) as it’s not required for read-only (Read email)

Hey @VincentWu thanks for the quick response. Here is an example of my flow:

Here is the scheduling:

There is no indication of “Run with no confirmation”

Hi @William_L_Morton ,

Sorry I didn’t realize you’re in amazonbi account. This skip-confirmation feature is disabled for amazonbi account on purpose.

Thanks @VincentWu for the information. Is there a way around this or another way we can automatically send some kind of communication?

@William_L_Morton Unfortunately the only options is either to schedule it in your own Isengard account or file a ticket here to the internal enterprise integration team.
