Bug - Table Borders don’t fully render

Documented Date: 2025-09-18

Description: The Table and Pivot table Visuals do not correctly render Boarders. Cells will not render the left and top part of the cell array if the Columns or Rows Boarder is turned off.

I am posting all the (what I believe to be) product bugs I’ve documented here on this forum, as QS does not provide any other communication channel/method to reach out to the product mangers or developers directly.

Hi @dan.hozias and welcome to the Quick Community!

So I think I was able to replicate your situation by using a Pivot table.

In addition to trying to replicate your scenario I also included the properties panel to show how I replicated the situation. Essentially under the ‘Headers’ tab, I turned off the borders for columns and rows. I would recommend checking this to see if you accidentally turned them off.

Additionally, whenever I have a table visual that is behaving weird, an easy fix is simply to refresh your webpage. It is not a complete solution, but it is something quick and easy to try.

If both do not solve your issue, then I would recommend submitting a support ticket and the support team will be able to further investigate your situation. Refer to this resource on how to submit a ticket (Case management - AWS Support).

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the prompt reply and effort Jacob.

Yes, I specifically have the Headers boarders turned off, as I only want to style the Cells boarders, hence the issue; I can also confirm that refreshing under the latest version of Edge and Chrome does not fix this.

I will raise a ticket via the Technical Support method as we’re on the Business Support plan (just checked).

Appreciate the help,

Dan

Hi @dan.hozias ,

Yes so the behavior you are experiencing is currently the intended behavior. I will attach the ‘feature-request’ tag to this post to help increase visibility to the Quick Team for potentially more customization options for Table/Pivot table visuals.
