How do you change the default subtitle on this?
@danielreyes3rd - Thank you for posting your query. I believe you can access the Format Visual menu option to explore the subtitle section and update/modify it according to your choice. In fact, it will allow you to refer to any parameters that is available in the analysis to customize it more. There are different formatting options as well. Hope this helps!
Thanks, although I am thinking to keep the word “Showing Top *** User_location_City”
I just want to change the field User_location_City.
@danielreyes3rd - Thanks for your response. Are you still facing any challenges in changing that? Sorry, I could not yet understand the problem. With this Edit subtitle option you are free to write whatever you want according to your need. Sorry, if I am unable to understand the problem statement.
actually yes you can type anything you want in the edit subtitle. Though in the screen shot it shows this
I want to rename that user location
I tried creating a new field but it wont allow me to create a map visual because it is not a geopatical field.
@danielreyes3rd - I would recommend you to use the Edit Subtitle feature and write your own custom subtitle. If you are only eager to change that relevant portion, then you have to rename the field at the dataset level to what you want to see in the subtitle. Hope this helps!
Did my suggestion help you in resolving your query? If yes, would request you to mark the post as “Solution”. This will help the community to find guidance and answers to similar question. Thank you!
Agreed, so I guess the only way is to rename that in the dataset level before importing it to quicksight. Thanks!
Modifying these subtleties can make a significant difference in data visualization. To achieve this, you’ll likely need to edit the title and subtitle settings within your QuickSight report.
