Default asset permissions

Is there a way to set the default account permissions for assets/resources?

We have analysts who create data sets and analyses and they are not visible to admins by default.

I think as an admin I should be able to see everything in the account. As I need to support the analysts and help them out with questions.

Hi,

we solved this by running a lambda every day, that crawls every dashboard, analysis and dataset and gives permission to our admin group.

Hey @thomask thanks, that’s sort of what I was planning as Plan B :grin: Was hoping there is a better solution, as it seems like a basic thing everyone will want.
