File Type Performance

I experienced some slowdowns in my pivot tables when employing the “Hide Collapsed Columns” option.

This led me to research ways to improve the performance of my analyses, and I’m wondering if there are any benefits to using certain file types or data locations over another.

For example - Is my analysis / dashboard faster if I query from S3 than if I upload a CSV or Excel file?

I don’t think it will change. At the end of the day it is all being cached in SPICE so it will be the same performance for each.
