Histogram View Summary Data Not Displaying Correctly

I have this histogram chart. Looks fine here but when I click on “view summary data” it is not reflecting these numbers. Can you provide an explanation or solution?

Hello @japeter89, would you be able to show an anonymized view of the data you are entering into the histogram in a table view? Can you also explain any calculated fields you used in the visual?

I’m wondering if the histogram isn’t the best visual option for the data you are using. With this visual, you want your data to display a clear trend. Either a bell graph or a clear ascending/descending of values. I am wondering if you switch to a bar chart instead if the summary data will be more useful to your reader users.

I’ll link the documentation for histograms and bar charts below to help give you a better understanding of the data the visual is built for. Let me know if this helps!

This is a calculated field:
floor(dateDiff({Date of Birth},now())/365)

Seeing this Do you still think what you said above?

Hello @japeter89, I appreciate you sending over that information. Yes, I still believe changing the visual type will help make your data summary more informative to the user. I don’t think the histogram will be the right visual for this specific data.
