How to Export/Transfer Files Uploaded to Quick Spaces to an S3 Bucket?

Hi Quick Community,

I’m working on a document consolidation workflow and need clarification on exporting files from Spaces to S3.

My Use Case: I have documents that have been manually uploaded to an Amazon Quick Space, and I need to transfer/export these files to an S3 bucket for consolidation and further processing.

What I’ve Found:

  • The documentation shows S3 integration for ingesting data FROM S3 INTO Quick (for knowledge bases)

  • Quick Automate supports S3 action connectors (Download File, Upload File, Copy Object) for S3-to-S3 operations

  • Users with Viewer permissions can download files from Spaces manually

  • However, I cannot find documentation about programmatically exporting or transferring files that were manually uploaded to Spaces to an S3 bucket

My Questions:

  1. Is there a native way to export/transfer files uploaded to Quick Spaces to an S3 bucket?

  2. Can Quick Automate access files stored in Spaces to move them to S3?

Any guidance or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Hello @vibhuvt

Welcome to Quick Community!

I was trying your use-case with Quick Automate and S3 Actions. However, it does not seem to be able to retrieve files from a space. It is looking for a specific location like S3 bucket, or a file system location, or an accessible path.
