I am not able to access all data from a dashboard using Quick

When I try to fetch certain data from a specific quicksight dashboard, the Quick agent is unable to find the data unless I apply filters to make that data visible on the current page. How can I retrieve data from a dashboard if it is not visible on the first page?

Hi @symhdi

Welcome to the Quick community!

Please check if any filters are applied in your dashboard and reset them to ensure filtered data is visible. Sometimes previous filter states get cached in the browser, so a reset can help resolve display issues.

Before accessing the dashboard, verify that your analysis is showing data correctly. If your analysis is blank, open the related dataset, use the “Edit/Preview” option, and confirm sample data is available.

Thanks for the response. couple of things

  1. the dashboard contain > 1M data, and even when there is no filter applied to the dashboard, Quick agent is not able to fetch the required data if the data is not visible on the first page of the dashboard.
  2. Is there any way i can ask Quick SUite agent to apply filters and provide me the data. I tried doing it however, it respond that it can not put fileter or reset the dashboard by itself. that can only be done manually.
  3. my entire requirement is to fetch a data suing primary key in the dashboard through AI agent. Can you suggest me how to do that. we can also connect on slack- symhdi@

Hi @symhdi

Can you please confirm whether Quick datasets used with SPICE or Direct Query?

Also, could you check the data within the analysis and review the SPICE data refresh logs on the dataset? This will help determine how many records have been ingested or updated in the SPICE memory.

Hi @symhdi,
