I believe the percent difference is not taking the absolute value for the denominator in the equation. When the old value is negative and percent increase is positive it turns it negative. The equation should be “subtract the old value from the new value, then divide by the absolute value of the old value”. Could you please investigate?
Thanks for calling this out. I haven’t noticed this. I would suggest opening up a support case so that AWS can take a look at it.
Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
