Quick Agent Cannot Connect To MCP Server

Quick chat agent cannot find/detect tools within MCP integration. First noticed on April 17 (AEST). We keep receiving messages from the agent like the following:

  • It seems the MCP integration still isn’t available in this environment
  • It looks like I’m currently unable to connect to the platform tools.

Last successful interaction where the Agent successfully interacted with the MCP server was on April 15 (AEST).

There appears to be a few other cases that are similar to this as well:

Steps performed so far to ensure the issue does not lie with the MCP Server or the MCP integration:

  • Removed integration from Chat Agent and re-linked integration. Outcome: Messages as per above
  • Deleted MCP from Actions and re-added MCP to integrations. Outcome: Messages as per above
  • Re-authorised and updated MCP. Outcome: Update and re-authorisation successful, however interaction with Chat Agent results in the same messages as per above
  • Used internal “Test action APIs” tool available in Amazon Quick. Response was successful.

Have there been any updates on the Amazon Quick backend that may have affected this?

Thanks
