Why am I getting this error “Sorry, your upload failed. Please hover over the failed file icon for details on the error.” when uploading files to a conversation? Its kind of annoying, cause I can see Quick Suite is processing the information, putting together the output, but just before finishing, everything gets deleted and I just get that message. How can I prevent this from happening? I usually upload 4-5 files, light files into a conversation for referencing.
Hi @carloten and welcome to the Quick Community!
If everything is getting deleted, does that include the failed file icon so that you’re unable to get more information on why the upload is failing?
Is this happening every time you upload files or only when uploading specific files or specific types?
Wondering if there is any trend in the error messages you’re receiving…wondering if it may be due to an unsupported data type or too large of a file
Hi @carloten,
Just checking back in since this thread hasn’t received a response in a while. Was Brett’s reply helpful to you and/or were you able to find a solution yourself in the meantime? Please help the community by marking this answer as “Solution” or following up in general within the next 3 business days!
Thank you!
Yes. Well, in part. What I ended up doing to avoid the issue was create a space where I upload files and then select it when needed in the conversation. Thanks for the followup.
Hi @carloten,
Thanks for reaching back out and sounds great. I will treat this inquiry as complete for now, but if you run into other chat-related issues (especially in regard to loading like in this case), please feel free to create a new post in the community and link this discussion for context!
Thank you!
