i have built an app on quick. in the latest version the app is corrupted but the older version is working fine. I have reverted the app to old version but whenever i make any changes it starts form the latest version how to completely revert to the previous version so any changes made picks from there and not the latest version
Hi @ditysin and welcome to the community!
I would recommend you duplicate the app while the reverted (working) version is active. This creates a fresh copy based on the working state, and any new edits will build from that clean starting point.
You can then archive or delete the corrupted original. It’s not ideal, but it ensures your changes go forward from the good version without the corrupted one interfering.
For reference, the Troubleshooting apps in Quick docs mention using the version selector to restore previous working versions, and the Tips for building apps docs recommend noting stable version numbers after completing working features so you can restore immediately.
Hope this helps and feel free to update us on any new developments!
thanks for the response. I have just started working on apps hence the dumb question below.
how can i duplicate the app? Do i have to build a new one from scratch or is there a way to download/copy the data from the current app.
Hi @ditysin,
To duplicate an app, you would go to your App, click the three dots on the top right of it, then click Duplicate. That should do it!
