Has anyone found a way to allow quick to automatically run browser scripts on it’s own without having to allow it every time? It defeats the purpose of having the agent run a prompt so I can focus on other tasks if I have to allow it to run script every 10-15 seconds.
Hi @mbesweth
Welcome to the Quick community!
You can configure Browser Automation to run without confirmation prompts by adjusting the tool permissions:
- Go to
Settings -> Capabilities -> Tools - Find Browser Automation and click Manage permissions
- Set the Access Level to Full Access (Read & write)
Full Access (Read & write): Quick has full read and write access to this capability. Operations run without prompting you for confirmation.
With Full Access enabled, operations will run without prompting you for confirmation each time, so your agent can execute browser workflows autonomously without the constant approval interruptions.
Here’s the official documentation for reference - System tools - Amazon Quick
Thank you so much. I set everything I could to “Always Allow” but the two actions that I think I need most are Run JavaScript and Batch Actions. Both don’t have the “Always Allow” options but have the “Allow When…” option. Do you happen to know what kind of condition that I would need to set if I want to allow it practically every time I prompt it?
Hi @mbesweth
Thank you for digging into the settings and sharing what you’re seeing! Unfortunately, the Allow When conditional option for Run JavaScript and Batch Actions isn’t covered in the official documentation I’ve been able to find, the docs only reference the three standard access levels (Full Access, Read Only, Ask Each Time).
I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf.
