I created a Quicksuite Flow that sends email and outlook message automatically to users. I have scheduled it to run daily. The issue that I am facing is that it awaits for approval everyday to send the message or email. It gets stuck in Pending status until I approve it. Is there a way to set auto approve?
Hi @simarkp,
Welcome to the Quick Community! There is currently no way to set up auto approve for connector messaging. However, I believe this capability will still be possible for your Flow by giving yourself the proper Write permissions (most likely within Microsoft Graph API). If applicable, I would also see if you need any permissions/consent from an Admin if your use case is sending messages within an organization.
Hope this helps!
Can u provide the steps to make the auto-resolve possible. It’ll be great if you can provide approval for enabling this option for my use case since I need automated reporting in internal slack groups and email
Hi @simarkp,
To ensure your Outlook connector should be working properly, go to your Azure Portal, and within your API Permissions make sure that Mail.Send has admin consent.
Also, just to make sure I fully understand your Flow, do you have a Slack connector integrated as well. If so, please let me know if that connector is letting you auto approve and if it is just the Outlook connector prompting you to approve.
Please let me know if my Outlook suggestion was able to work for you, and if not we can explore alternative workarounds!
I am facing this issue in both Slack and Outlook. Also, if I try to check my configurations here Microsoft Azure , it says permission denied. I am unable to access the link through my account. Can you help check and fix it? or suggest some other way to send automated emails and slack messages.
Hi @simarkp,
Apologies for the delay in response. If that is the case, it is indeed likely not possible to set up auto approve through the workaround I suggested. If possible, I would recommend utilizing Quick Desktop, as I know you can enable auto-approve in app settings for sending Slack and Outlook messages via chat agent.
Please let me know if this helps!
Hi @simarkp,
Just checking back in since this thread hasn’t received a response in a while. Was my reply helpful to you and/or were you able to find a solution yourself in the meantime? Please help the community by marking this answer as “Solution” or following up in general within the next 3 business days!
Thanks!
I didnt try using Quick Desktop but switched to using SNS Notifications using Lambda
