Hi @Perraudeau_Laurie, welcome to the QuickSight Community! I am not sure I will be able to tell you which data-source is connected, but I may be able to help guide you through how to check the data-source with some options I have added below:
The following depends on the access permissions you currently have:
-
If you have access to the analysis:
a. You can check which dataset is connected under “Dataset” on the left-hand side of the screenb. If you have access to the dataset, then you can:
- go to the data source and trace back to the connection to review the data
OR
- (If one does not already exist) create a new table visual in the analysis that contains all of the columns to get a sense of what the raw data looks like, and how it might be being rolled-upc. If you do not have access to the dataset then please ask the dataset owner to share the dataset with you, or ask them to review the data:
- Sharing datasets - Amazon QuickSightd. If you are not sure who the dataset owner is, then I would recommend reaching out to the QuickSight account admin for the account where the dashboard exists
-
If you have access to the dashboard:
A. You can view the connected datasources via the “Data” button on the top-right corner of the screen, and follow steps b-d from above
b. If the table visual is rolled-up into a summary view, you may be able to expand the columns to see more details via the + button on the visual (there is a chance it may not be available on the visual depending on how it was setup)
I hope this helps! Feel free to reach out if you have any additional questions.
