From my understanding, I do not believe there is a standard way to set the color on a field that’s values are dynamic.
Just out of curiosity, how is that field static (what’s the calc. field formula you’ve created for it)?
I don’t believe there are any great work around options for dynamic value coloring but one thing you could try:
Edit the data colors in your theme settings:
While this won’t match colors to specific values per say, it will use those colors in order so if you are using the same calculated field on separate visuals (so it returns the same year options across numerous visuals) they should all coordinate. Visuals will follow that color order set in ‘Data Colors’ so the first value returned will be the light blue in my example, your second value will be dark blue, and so on.
I’ll mark this as a feature request as well to promote visibility to the support team but let me know if that work around serves as a solution for your case.
