I am unable to log in to Amazon Quick despite my account () being active and billed for the Quick Plus Monthly plan ($25.00 USD, July 2026, confirmed by AWS Support).
Every login attempt returns the following error:
“There seems to be a problem with your session. Please try again in a few minutes or login again. If the problem persists try clearing your browser cookies.”
The underlying URL shows error=access_denied. Screenshot below:
Troubleshooting already attempted, all unsuccessful:
Cleared browser cookies and cache
Tried multiple browsers
Tried incognito/private mode
Uninstalled and reinstalled the Amazon Quick desktop application
Logging in via Google/Gmail sign-in (registered method)
The error is consistent across all of the above. This has been ongoing since 13 August 2026, despite AWS Support confirming the account was reinstated and active.
Could someone from the support team advise:
What is causing this specific access_denied session error for a confirmed active, billed account?
Is there a known fix or workaround for this session error?
Is this a known/ongoing issue affecting other users, or specific to my account?

Appreciate any help resolving this, as I have paid for the subscription but have not been able to access the product even once.
Thanks for providing so much detail and the steps you’ve already taken. I would like to clarify that this is a public-facing community and not the support team, we unfortunately do not have access to anyone’s account.
I do have some questions to see if we can narrow down the problem. First, you mentioned that you signed up back in july, were you ever able to successfully log in, or has it been broken since you signed up? Did anything change on Aug 13? (for example; a password change, MFA update, billing lapse and reinstatement, new device, etc.)? Are you logging in via the desktop app, the web version, or both? When AWS Support said the account was “reinstated,” does that mean it was suspended at some point?
It worked fine initially after signing up in July, broke later.
Nothing changed on my end — no password/MFA/device change. Account was suspended because I hadn’t paid by the due date. After I paid, AWS emailed confirming it was reinstated. Login has failed ever since.
Tried both desktop app and web version — same error on both.
Yes, “reinstated” means it was suspended (for non-payment) before being reinstated after payment.
What’s most surprising: even when I tried signing up with a new account and on a different system altogether, I got the exact same error. That makes me think this isn’t specific to my original account at all.
So: worked in July → suspended for late payment → paid → AWS confirmed reinstatement → login broken since, on both platforms, no changes my end — and even a fresh account/system hits the same wall.
Thanks for the answers, that narrows things down a lot. The timeline you said strongly suggests the Quick entitlement didn’t fully re-provision after the suspension was lifted. AWS confirming the account is “active” may mean the billing side is resolved but the actual Quick service access wasn’t restored on the backend.
Since you already have a support ticket open, I’d recommend following up on that case. If the case has stalled, you can ask for it to be escalated.
Unfortunately, since this is a public facing forum, we do not have access to anyone’s account or backend authorities. But I did go ahead and mark this post with the ‘error’ tag to promote visibility to the AWS team.
