I have integrated S3 bucket with quick suite. Using this data integration, I’m able to create one KB that sync data on regular basis.
When I’m trying to create another KB with using existing data integration, it’s giving error during data sync that “The S3 bucket exists in a different AWS Region than your application.”
Same data integration - 2 KBs, one is getting succeeded while other is failing with validation failure error.
Ensure that IAM permissions and policies allow access to the S3 buckets in the correct AWS regions. Often, this validation failure occurs because the Quick service instance is deployed in a different AWS region than the S3 bucket. The error message “The S3 bucket exists in a different AWS Region than your application” clearly indicates a region mismatch.
This region mismatch is a common cause of synchronization failures when using S3 with Amazon Quick. The S3 bucket and Quick application must reside in the same AWS region for smooth data synchronization. Verifying and aligning the regions for both the service and the bucket should resolve this validation error.
