From our documentation
Security (RLS), Column Level Security (CLS) and Dynamic Default Parameters for email reports works for both scheduled and ad hoc (one-time) emails.
If your use case is for creating a default filter that applies to all users, for scheduled reports, you can create a parameter to be used by the filter and set one or multiple Static Default Values, these values will be used when you schedule an export.
If you need to set different defaults for different users, you can use Dynamic Defaults Parameters, here is the documentation on how to set them up.

I’ve added a CSV dataset and set up DDP with filters. But still, the email was sent without customization. Anything I’ve set wrongly?

Can you check that when you are logged in as one of those users, and you reset the control, the value is set to what is defined in your dataset for that user?
I think I see the problem here, you are selecting the Default-region as if it was a QuickSight group name. If you only have usernames in the Viewed-by, then you can leave the group name column empty.

Hi,
I found that only group HKG-Infra-Ops_ANT cannot be sent with filters; however, all other aliases can be done by that. Is there any difference between email alerts sent in groups?

If it is a group it has to be specified on a column and then select it on the “Group name column” when setting up the dynamic defaults.

It comes up to another problem that thje email alert does not show the same view to all group members. May I know if any pre-requisite for that? Every member have to enter the dashboard and set their own filtering?
