Access denied while trying to access file from S3

Hi All,

Running into an issue with adding an S3 bucket to the Dataset, getting an error: Access denied while trying to access file from S3 all necessary permissions are there, and my manifest is formatted correctly, I even tried different permutations to check my sanity. I even went as far as adding an additional policy on my bucket to allow QuickSight access.

Check if the s3 bucket you trying to create dataset is selected under security and permission of QuickSight. If not, QuickSight account Administrators can update.

Thanks for the response! We have adjusted the permission and it still does not work. I made sure to check the IAM role to ensure that the bucket was added to the role.

Thank you for letting us know. I would recommend filing a case with AWS Support where we can dive into the details so that we can help you further. Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
