Amazon Q - No "Start Free Trial" or "Create Topic" options on QuickSight Enterprise account

Hi everyone!

I am working on a QuickSight enterprise edition account as an Admin, in US East 1 Region.

I would like to try some Amazon Q features with my dataset for testing purposes.

I have followed the steps mentioned on “Get Started with Amazon QuickSight Q in 3 Steps” video; however on my “Topics” screen there is no “Start Free Trial” option.

My user has “AdministratorAccess” IAM policy.

That else should I do to enable Amazon Q and Topics creation on my QuickSight account?

Hello @Gabriel_Santana,

Welcome to the QuickSight community, it is great having you here!

When you go to Topics, you will get this notice.

This means that you need at least one of you users to be Pro users to be able to create new Topics.

After doing this, you will see the New Topic option in the Topics menu. Please note that this might take a couple of minutes to take effect from the moment you swith the user to an Author Pro user.

Please check this page to see the pricing and the different actions available to the different types of Pro users.

I have started internal conversation to see if we need to revisit the documention / videos you are referring to.
