I have an analysis that has always had dark background. For some reason, it automatically switched to light background without any edits from the owner. The weird thing is, all analysis & dashboards that were copied using this analysis also automatically changed backgrounds. Any idea why this happened?
Could it be that someone edited the underlying theme being used in these analyses and dashboards?
No it wasn’t updated. The weird thing is, I had created a couple other versions of the analysis and all versions have this same issue.

If you are still facing this issue, I would suggest that you log a ticket so the technical team can debug the issue.
If you have access to the AWS console of the AWS account where you’re using QuickSight, please see these instructions on how to raise a support case.
If you do not have access, you’d need to ask whoever manages your AWS account for you to raise a support ticket.
