Anomalies - Display time

Hi,

I have implemented an anomaly but I am trying to figure out how I can adjust the time the notification or alert is visible in the dashboard. This would be an example:

→ There as an anomaly detected on Oct 21, 2024 6am.

Today, Oct22, 2024, 6am, when the users visits the dashboard they can still see this notification, which is from 1 day ago and is not valid anymore. Question is, how can I customize the time this notification/alert/anomaly is display for the users? I would like to display this anomaly for around 6 hours after the alert was raised.

Is this possible?

Thank you!

Hi jgreso, anamolies typically apply for the time period defined by the aggregation level set on your date field e.g. if its set for Month then all anamolies for the previous month with be picked up. So changing the aggregation to daily maybe one way to achieve what you are after. There is also the option to configure the alert levels in the anomaly configuration which you can use to customise the number of anamolies you see and schedule how often they run - however, I don’t believe you can fine tunes this to x hours; daily is the most granular frequency.

In my case the the aggregation level is set to HOUR, however one day after this anomaly was identified is still visible in the dashboard.

Can you share a screen shot as I am not seeing the same my end

I cannot really share a lot of details, but I hope this helps:

That doesn’t really help - but you can try this: expand your schedule and alert section from the screen shot you shared and make sure that the Set alert past period option flag is NOT selected. If selected the system shows anamolies detected from previous periods upto a specified number.
