Why is anomoly detection disabled with RLS is used on a data set? RLS is a basic feature of BI tools. Anomoly detection is a great feature but is seems to be disabled on data sets with RLS rules. How are we supposed to use this for analysis?

How are you you working with anomaly detection to see that it is being block by RLS?
To my understanding this shouldn’t be a problem unless the data you are trying to work with is restricted by the RLS.

You are correct that anomaly detection is currently not supported with datasets that use row level security. I appreciate that this can be a blocker for using the feature. I have tagged this thread as a feature request so it can be reviewed by the product team for designing their roadmap.
