I am trying to connect athena with Quicksight.I can access the catalog but can’t see any of the underline tables.What permission do I require for that?

There are a number of factors to be considered here, please take a look at this documentation: Authorizing connections to Amazon Athena - Amazon QuickSight and make sure you have all the permissions configured as described here.
