We are thrilled to announce that Amazon Web Services (AWS) has been recognized as a Challenger in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence (ABI) Platforms.
This recognition marks the second consecutive year AWS has been named a Challenger, which we believe reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in the ABI space.
The Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates 20 ABI companies based on their Ability to Execute, which measures a vendor’s capacity to deliver its products or services effectively, and Completeness of Vision, which assesses a vendor’s understanding of the market and its strategy for future growth, according to Gartner’s report, How Markets and Vendors Are Evaluated in Gartner Magic Quadrants.
Amazon QuickSight enables fast, data-driven decisions
Amazon QuickSight is a serverless, cloud-based business intelligence (BI) solution that uses machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to help analysts, data scientists, business users, and executives make data-driven decisions. With its smart visualization tools and self-service analytics, QuickSight allows users to independently explore data and gain valuable insights, without needing extensive data analysis expertise.
QuickSight meets varying analytic needs from the same source of truth through modern interactive dashboards, paginated reports, natural language queries (NLQ), and embedded analytics. More than 100,000 customers across industries, including the NFL, BMW, and Best Western, are using QuickSight to empower everyone in their organization with insights needed to grow revenue, drive operational efficiencies, and foster innovation.
Building on existing NLQ and ML capabilities, QuickSight added generative BI with the introduction of Amazon Q in QuickSight, announced as generally available April 30, 2024. These capabilities help business analysts and business users build dynamic dashboards and generate powerful data stories and executive summaries, all using natural language.
