Best practices for photo hosting to embed images

I need to embed images in an analysis and am looking for suggestions for hosting these images. I have tried creating a Google Sites website, inserting my images there and then copying the image links and pasting into the analysis as detailed in the QS documentation.

The image will appear as expected for a day and then appear like this:

I’m looking for recommendations from the community for a better solution. I’ve linked the documentation below and see that there are limitations on websites that use hotlink protections.

I would suggest hosting them on S3.

Is there a reason to not do that?
