Billing Subscription Quicksight question

Hi everyone, I would like to ask a question regarding subscription account billing. If I purchase at the beginning of the month and then delete the account I associated with the subscription, do I stop paying for that subscription? Because I have associated an account with an Admin user, but since there are two of us administering, to save money I deleted one user, however in billing I continue to pay. is this normal?

Hi @Alexpic91 - As per my understanding if the user is created and deleted after some day, you have to pay the money for that month for the user. From the next month, there will be no billing for the user.

Hello @Alexpic91, @Sanjeeb2022 is spot on with the process here. You would pay that month for the user that you deleted, but it shouldn’t continue to bill for their access moving forward. Were you billed for more than 1 month for 2 users?

Hi @DylanM My problem was that I had mistakenly created an user account with author license and after a few days I had deleted it. I thought that by deleting the user account I would only pay for the days that I used the second account and not the whole month :smiling_face_with_tear:

Hello @Alexpic91, yeah I believe QuickSight bills by the month, so if the user was activated for a few days in a single month, you will be billed for the full month. The account shouldn’t appear on any bills moving forward if the user was deleted.
