When sorting box plots by the ‘value’ instead of the ‘group by’ variable, things get wonky.
I have noticed that the minimums and maximums are often taking values from different categorical ‘Group By’ variables (So for my groupings A, B, C, D… box plot A will have some values from B in it). However, the underlying data points seem to be correct.
My value is a calculated field that uses DateDiff.

If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account.
