Bug: Using start-asset-bundle-export-job and Pie-Chart Colors

We have encountered a bug when using the start-asset-bundle-export-job api. When creating a pie chart, if we change the color of a null field and then filter it out, it appears incorrectly in the json in the “visualPalette” section.

Because this null field has no “fieldValue” we cannot migrate it with the StartAssetBundleImportJob api. As a workaround it works if we go into the json and remove the faulty part.

Maybe you can make a note of this and it only happens in the constellation when we change the color of a null field and then filter it out.

Edit: This error also occurs in other visuals where we first give the empty field a color and then filter it - like bar chart for example.

@robert.eibers ,
can you start the job using the LENIET mode ? ( Asset bundle export operations - Amazon QuickSight ) . Search for validation strategy

If it’s still giving an error , Here are the steps for opening a support ticket - Creating support cases and case management - AWS Support . If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf

Kind regards,
Koushik

The error still happens. I will raise a ticket and mark your input as solution.
Thank you for your help @Koushik_Muthanna
