Build Visual with Q in Quicksight not available in published dashboards

Hi Community,
I am making use of generate embed URL for registered user API to generate the dashboard URL and use it in my application as an i-frame. I have Q integrated with my QuickSight account. But, the generated dashboard does not have Build Visual with Q feature available. Is this expected? Is there a work around to add build visual feature into the published dashboard?

Note: I have Author Pro subscription for Q.

Hello Tamil,

i assume you are talking and GenBI capabilities for building visuals as Author. which typically is part of Console activity within Analysis not Dashboard.

With Dashboard being published and expecting Q search bar to build visual is not possible and as expected. It is for Reader/reader pro experience where they can ask Q using natural language to get additional insight/chart based on the question they asked to the data set topic that is being shared with them.
All this reader/pro experiences can be embedded.

For Author/pro you can look into Console Embedding but again i think Topic/GenBI embedding is still not available yet within Console Embedding remaining thing such as Dataset/Analysis etc should be available.

Sorry my bad, my choice of words should have been better. I was actually looking to incorporate Build with Q to the entire QuickSight Console which I will exposing using the registeredUser API.
So, you mean to say that with Author Pro, I still can’t expose the Build With Q capabilities and the user should have Reader Pro privilege to get access to that?

Hello Tamil,

Reader or Reader pro consumes the dashboard which are created by Author or Autho pro.

Reader pro may ask questions to the dataset/topic shared with them to get insight along visuals etc. they do not really build visuals or dashboards.

Author pro can leverage Amazon Q ( GenBI) capabilities to build visuals, calculations etc within Analysis and in the default QuickSight Console.

Now what i intent to express is with embedding of the console there may be limitation of GenBI capabilities even with Author pro. All other aspect should work.

Within QuickSight console all these features or capabilities related with GenBI works.
