Hi,
I have developed few KPIs in Amazon Quick sight in one of our lower environments which consist of no. of calculated fields, and they are working as expected. Then we had to migrate the same analysis to higher environment and we did based on template approach successfully. But the same calculated fields that are working in the lower environment are not working in the migrated environment. For example, a basic addition of two calculated fields is also not working but when I create a new calculated field for the same addition is working. I am clueless how why this is happening. Please provide me suggestions/thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
@Nikhitha - Welcome to the community! Thank you for posting your query. When you are saying that the calculated fields are NOT working in higher environment, what do you mean by that? Are you facing any error? If yes, can you please provide the error details that you are getting. A bit more details around your problem will be helpful e.g. calculation details, whether those are nested calculated fields i.e. one calculated field is using another calculated field, are you facing any error during deployment etc. Thank you!
Hi @Nikhitha - Welcome to AWS QuickSight community and thanks for posting the question. Can you please ensure you have used correct aws cli version when migrating lower env to upper env?
Test with a simple report with calculated field first, if the migration work, then try to migrate other reports.
