Calculated Fields with KPIs from different datasets

Hey all,

will it be possible to calculate with KPIs from different datasets in the future? I like the idea of having a single point of truth dataset.

Actually I have to join eg. the monthly number of customers to each dataset with specific KPIs to get a percentage value. That’s very ugly and lots of unnecessary duplicate code. I like Quicksight very much if I only have to work with one kind of data. When it comes to comparison with other datasets, it’s quite useless, if you don’t want to go extra miles all the time.

Is it on the roadmap? If not: why? :slight_smile:

Hmmm, that’s an interesting use case.

Right now, yes you would need to join the datasets into one to do this.

I’ll mark it as a feature request.
