This is all the measures I have; however, is there way to filter for specific measures and have it default to showing all of them on the screen? I’ve been snooping around google, these forums and haven’t found something that works for me. Any advice would help! Thanks!
Hi, Phillip_Le
There is not a way (that I know of) to display only certain fields based on a filter.
As a work around, you can build multiple visualizations, each with only the metrics you want to see.
Next build a parameter with a control listing each of the visualizations you have.
Finally, for each visualization, add a rule to hide by default. Then a conditional rule to show the visualization only when the parameter is set to the relevant value.
BTW, this works best when the visualizations are stacked on top of each other (use free form sheet layout)
hi Philip_Le,
We hope BrianJager’s solution worked for you.
additionally, dynamic measures by creating calculation fields might work. the sample dashboard shows how it works and you can see how it is created by clicking analysis icon.
Let us know if this is resolved. And if it is, please help the community by marking his answer as a “Solution.

Love this solution, Wakana! I had no idea quicksight could use dynamic fields driven by a parameter control as dimensions and measures. Super cool, thanks for sharing!
