I want our user to be able to ask a question of a dashboard using Q, but I want to get access to the resulting filtered answer so that I can take further action on it. Is there a way to do this? I did not see one.
The closest I can think of is having the user download a CSV and then reupload to a site designed to take the action.
Thanks,
Dan
Hi @DanCory
You may request the user to share Quicksight Q response url “share this answer” and you can run the same prompt again . Please note the response will be created for each user based on the users access privileges ( topic access , RLS …)
Owner of the QuickSight topic will be able to see the usage history and if required can run the same questions and get the answers .
Did this solution work for you? I am marking this as, “Solution,” but let us know if this is not resolved. Thanks for posting your questions on the QuickSight Community Q&A Forum!
Thanks

I want programmatic access to the data. Rerunning the prompt doesn’t particularly help that.
