Can QuickSight be connected with On-premise or RDS Oracle Database

I was trying to connect quicksight to my oracle database in Oracle Cloud with no success.
Then tried creating an RDS instance of oracle from my AWS account and tried connecting to it from Quicksight, still no success.

All I am getting is the ‘IO Error: Connection closed, connect lapse 199 ms., Authentication lapse 0 ms.’ error.

I am able to connect to the DBs from a VM though.
Is there anything I am missing here. Or is there a doc or blog which help in this matter?

Any help would be appreciated.

As mentioned here, Oracle 12c or later is supported as a datasource in QuickSight

I would recommend looking at this documentation to ensure you’re following the right steps to connect to RDS Authorizing connections from Amazon QuickSight to Amazon RDS DB instances - Amazon QuickSight

Hi @SD_QS Thanks for your response. Sorry for the delayed response from my side.
Yes it worked. I was trying to connect the DB using the service name instead of the DB name.

I was wondering does Quicksight support conection to Oracle Autonomous Transaction DBs?
