Can we share a single report from a dashboard with a specific user?

I want to share a single report from a dashboard with a specific user. Is there a way to achieve this in quicksight?

Hi @musama - I do not think you can share a specific report from a dashboard to a specific user. This is an interesting use case and something we can request QuickSight team to add as a feature request down the line.

Hi @musama ,

You can share a dashboard with a user . When you say single report, I understand this as a visual within the dashboard and this is not possible.

Possibilities :
1/ You could create a new analysis with just that visual and then publish the dashboard . Share it with the user.
2/ You could create a sheet in the analysis with just that visual and publish only that sheet as a new dashboard.

@Koushik_Muthanna I will try this within a month and tell you if it fixed my problem. I already try and couldn’t do it, but maybe there is some detail that I am not taking into account. I will get back to this topic once I’ve tried. Thank you :slight_smile:
