I’d like to add quip and workdoc folders to my knowledge base. Did not see the option to add those.
Hi @homa and welcome to the Quick Community!
Here is a more defined breakdown of the currently supported integrations; it looks like neither of those are currently supported.
I will mark this as a feature request to promote visibility to the support team.
Hi @homa,
Following up here as it’s been awhile since last communication took place on this thread; did you have any additional questions regarding your initial post?
If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.
Thank you
Thanks for the follow up. Do you have any suggestions on how to bring Workdocs and Quip folder content into my knowledge center? Do I have to manually copy everything over?
Hi @homa,
Hope everything is well with you! Since both Workdocs and Quip currently do not have any native Quick integrations, I’d recommend bringing that data from both apps over to S3 through a Lambda containing a Python script. From there, you can use that data from S3 to make analyses and utilize other Quick capabilities.
Let me know if this helps!
Thanks @WLS-Luis. I will look into it. If you have any manuals to do this would appreciate it.
Hi @homa,
Of course anytime! Since my Python script recommendation is not native to Quick, I do not have any related documentation. However, if you are unsure of how to go about it, I would definitely try using the Quick Chat Agent, as that might be able to generate the script you need given the right inputs!
I actually found a couple of easy ways to transfer all my quip docs and spreadsheets into One Drive. Same for Workdocs. And you can add One Drive to your knowledge base. For Quip, you can simply go to quip website and select multiple files at once and choose “Item” on top of the page and click download to Word or Excel. And then just download them to your One Drive folder. Here is the link for quip document transfer. Lookup under “Export Multiple Items” https://my.it.a2z.com/articles/software/quip/quip-to-m365?dropdown-acbdef24=true
For Workdocs, you can use Concentrate to transfer all files directly into OneDrive. Here is the link https://concentrate.amazon.dev/
Hi @homa,
Just checking back in since we haven’t heard from you in a bit. I appreciate your latest response that provides insights on a few ways to transfer quip docs. One thing to note is this is a public user forum, so links for internal amazon websites or resources are not accessible.
If you still have any additional questions related to your initial post, feel free to share them. Otherwise, any update you’re able to provide within the next 3 business days would be helpful for the community.
Thank you
