I cannot enable Builder MCP in my Amazon Quick Desktop app. Every time I try, it says that it’s “Connecting” and then 5-10 seconds later the status changes to “Configured” and 30-40 seconds later it changes to “Disabled”.
Hi @fernersc
Welcome to the Quick Suite community!
This behavior (Connecting → Configured → Disabled) typically indicates the MCP server is failing during startup or handshake.
- Check the MCP entry in Settings → Capabilities → MCP for any error details
- Try running the Builder MCP server command manually in a terminal to see if it produces errors
- The default server startup timeout is 30 seconds. If your server needs more time, you can increase it (up to 300 seconds) by editing the MCP entry.
Please refer to the following official documentation, which might be helpful for you.
