Some panels, datasets and analysis are hidden to my account, even though I am an administrator.

When opening the link https://us-east-1.quicksight.aws.amazon.com/sn/console/asset-management i get the error message

User: arn:aws:iam::—:user/luis.vogel is not authorized to perform: quicksight:ListDashboards on resource: arn:aws:quicksight:us-east-1:—:dashboard/* because no identity-based policy allows the quicksight:ListDashboards action

Hi @luisvlopes and welcome to the QuickSight community,
Even if you are an administrator, anything created or uploaded by someone else will still need to be shared with you by the original creator (or someone else that has Admin access on the asset in discussion).

In regards to your error code, this is referring to you not having proper permissions within Amazon’s IAM console (different than QuickSight Admin account). You’ll want double check your current permissions that are setup in IAM as this is not something that can be completed in the QuickSight console.

Hi @luisvlopes ,

as @Brett said, you as an administrator or someone else with these rights has to share the asset with you.

Here you can find a step-by-step instruction how to make an asset(e.g. dashboard or analysis) available for you:

Best regards,
Nico

Hi @Brett, thank you for your response.
Is there some kind of step by step for me to follow in the Amazon’s IAM console to grant this permission?

Hi @luisvlopes,
Did you check out the link shared by Nico, does it have the information you are looking for?
