Collecting data via dashboard

I want to collect data input that users insert in the dashboard, is that possible in any way?

What would be ideal:
Having a column in a table visual that holds a drop-down list that users can select from.
Their selection will then be saved and added to a table in another visual.
The input is at the row level (each row should have an option for this input, and the input for each row should be saved as a separate row in the new table).

Any creative ideas on how to make that happen?
Other ideas I can incorporate with a URL action maybe?

Thank you Erik, looks like a good solution but too much effort for what I need now.
I’ll keep looking for another solution.

Hi @MichalL - Welcome to AWS QuickSight and thanks for the post. If you are looking for a solution to select the value for a column and then pass that value as argument to a new visual, you can explore the option of URL action. It is possible in QuickSight.
