Hello. Is it possible to include a column in a dashboard whose content is filled by an LLM/Amazon Q/AI? For example: Column A = seller feedback. Column B = summary of column A generated by an LLM
Hello Pcamblor,
First of all Welcome to the Quick Community.
Amazon Q in QuickSight provides several AI-powered features, but directly adding LLM-generated columns within a dashboard’s data table is not currently a native capability.
What Amazon Q in QuickSight does offer as AI Features:
Stories - AI-generated narratives that explain insights and trends in your data, which can draw from enterprise documents, sites, and wikis
Executive Summaries - AI-driven summaries that provide quick snapshots of important information from dashboards, highlighting key insights in natural language
Q&A Experience - Users can ask questions about data within dashboards and receive AI-generated answers with explanatory narratives
Natural Language Dashboard Building - Author Pro users can build dashboards using natural language, reducing the time from hours to minutes
As per my understanding Potential Workarounds could be - Pre-processing data - Generate summaries using an LLM in your data pipeline before the data reaches QuickSight, then include the summaries as a regular column in your dataset.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Deep
