Combine Datasets using Fuller Outer Join - Not getting values as expected

Hi All, Good Morning QS Community.
I have 3 tables like below the screenshot. each connected to a date table of date Column.

After joining like above , i am losing some records & getting invalid data values at the visualization level.

  1. Let’s say convert all the above joins into full outer joins, again getting incorrect values at the visual level.

Hi @Venkat.Metadata

Please provide your definition from your dataset

Also, show an example of what you say as getting incorrect values at visual level; since you have already determined the problem and what your expected result is.

Giri

This is Power Bi Data Modelling

Getting Incorrect Values which are 20 times higher in QS Vs Power BI

Hi @Venkat.Metadata

Your QS dataset has full outer-joins across all the tables which explains the issue.

If I follow your Power BI data model you want Left-Join between Calendar Date and your Fact tables (with Calendar being on the left of the join ). Same should be the case with the Reference Line table.

You should be able to change the join type from the Join Type section when you are defining the joins.

Hi @Venkat.Metadata,
It’s been awhile since we last heard from you, did you have any additional questions regarding your initial post?

If we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll go ahead and close out this topic.

Thank you!
