Is it possible to control the color of the selected row of a table?

@garnold have you checked the solution approach outlined in this community post - How can I select multiple lines from a table? (and how could I then DESELECT those items to exclude them form the analysis?)

Wow, that’s an awful lot of work to just change the background of the selected row. I’m not looking for any kind of conditional color functionality, I just want to change the default color to something else.
