In the demo dashboard (https://democentral.learnquicksight.online/#Analysis-DashboardDemo-2025-Inventory-Management), I noticed that the Card Style settings include an option for Corner Radius. However, when I create charts in my own analysis, this option is missing under Card Style.
Hi. Thanks you for your question!
Many of our community Experts and folks from our team are on holiday right now. I asked “My Assistant” (universal chat) in Quick, and got this back.
@Brett Could you review and validate the answer below on Monday after you return from holiday?
Here is ”some context about corner radius options…:
Corner radius settings are typically found in Theme settings, not individual chart card styles. To adjust corner radius for cards…:
-
Click EDIT on the navigation bar and select Themes
-
Click the hamburger menu (3 dots) and select Edit to open the Theme Editor
-
Click on Cards section
-
Adjust the corner radius in multiples of 8 (higher numbers create rounder corners)
The corner radius setting applies at the theme level rather than being available as a formatting option for individual chart visuals. This might explain why the option appears ‘missing’ under card style for specific charts - it’s controlled globally through the theme editor instead.”
@Kristin Thank you for sharing this feedback. It is possible that the corner radius control only enabled through a feature flag on the Quicksight Demo-Central Analysis dashboards?
This may explain why the control is available at the chart level there which is offering a more powerful and flexible option compared to a fixed global theme setting that limits customisation on each card across a dashboard
Fingers crossed this becomes an option soon, It would definitely make chart-level customisation much more practical and user-friendly.
Hi @john.bridge,
I believe that when you see visualization features like that in the demo central mode, it normally means that it’s in beta mode; so my guess is that this is something that will be GA soon. I’ll tag this as a feature request to promote visibility but also keep an eye on the ‘What’s New’ page in the Community for all features releases as they become available!
