Could a user be assigned to several namespaces?

Hello there,

I’m investigating assigning a user to several namespaces, but I have found that a user can be assigned to just one namespace, is it applied to all roles?, or is there a way to have a user shared by several namespaces?

Should I use groups if I need segmentation and a user assigned to different sets?

Could I create users for different namespaces using the same email and username?

You are correct when assuming that a user can only be assigned to one namespace. However, you could create credentials for a user for each namespace, the username would have to be different in some way though. So that may be a good work around for your solution.

In regards to using groups; this may serve as a solution if you’re working with only internal users. But if working with multi-tenants per say, using a namespace to keep things separated would probably be more secure.
