I need to create a field to use in a pie chart that compares the “Valor Físico” and “Valor Digital” columns. Can anyone help?
Hi @Andre_Augusto_Vieira and welcome back to the community!
When you say that you need a field to compare those two fields, what are you trying to compare between them?
Also, confirming that Valor Fisico and Valor Digital are different fields?
Last, what does your ideal pie chart look like in this scenario?
Thank you
Hi @Brett !
I want to compare the total sum of the “Valor Fisico” and “Valor Digital” columns.
The two columns are of the same decimal type (float).
The graph could be the one below.
Hi @Andre_Augusto_Vieira,
Understood and thank you for sharing the additional information!
I believe this would be a QuickSight limitation currently. Since donut and pie charts only allow the use of one field for your group/color section, you are unable to compare two separate fields. I would suggest utilizing a different type of visual that allows you to add 2 different values to compare or to place 2 pie charts next to each other, one for each field!
