Is it possible to create Q topics in a region which is different from the QuickSight subscription?
We have a QuickSight subscription with Q in the Frankfurt. QuickSight allows us to create datasets in US East but it looks like the topics have to be in Frankfurt.
Hi David- the Q subscription is regional (there is a $250/mo per region fee). During sign up we only subscribe you to the home region that you picked, but you can add other regions through “Manage Quicksight”. As an Admin go to “Manage QuickSight” → Your Subscriptions → QuickSight Q Add-on → Manage Regions and you can select to subscribe Q to the “US East (Virginia)” region in addition to the “EU (Frankfurt)” region that you are currently subscribed to.
