Hi @jayakumarim,
When working with Q, the way questions are phrased will greatly impact the results you receive.
While I’m not sure how your data links between fields you can try rewording the question:
“Which channel was used most for processed payments in January 2024”
“Channel count for processed payments in January 2024”
You may need to add synonyms to your overall field: ‘Txn Status Code’ or include ‘status code’ somewhere in your question for the topic to utilize that field in the response.
It’s considered the txn status code when I include " status" in my question. Otherwise, it won’t.
But can’t Q search for the “processed” word I defined in the txn status code column?
And also after getting the result I wish to change the fields, but it’s not changing. Here I wish to remove the “count of txn status code”. But it’s unable to remove even when I click on the “Remove from answer” Please help me with this
Hi @jayakumarim,
Looking at your screenshot, it looks like Q did understand the ‘processed’ synonym as it shows ‘for txn status code=6’ in your interpreted as answer. Using ‘processed status’ is your best option as you have to identify the field to look for that synonym within.
In regards to removing a field from an answer; As the answer is formed by the field you’re trying to remove, it may not allow you to remove as it will make the question unanswerable without that field. I believe that the remove function would be more for an instance that’s utilizing multiple field values within the response.
Hi @jayakumarim,
From your last screenshot, I thought it was returning what you were originally asked for, since it’s been a couple weeks, could you provide me a quick reminder with the information below?
What’s filtering incorrectly an needs to be changed?
Could you share a new screenshot of the question you’re asking along with the response you’re receiving and let me know how you’d like it to be different so that I can assist further!
Please refer below screenshot,
It’s considered the txn_schld_date column for the date filter., but I wish to use some other column (status_change_time). But here I am unable to edit it
ANd there is a “Processed” word in the question. for that it should be considered the txn_status_code = 6. but it doesn’t.
Hi @jayakumarim,
For an initial question, sometimes you have to break down and explain what fields to be used. Then, once you receive the right response, you can verify the question and add ‘question variants’, which is where you could add the format of the question you’ve been trying to ask.
Also, for your date field, are you utilizing ‘txn_schld_date’ for other questions in your topic or is it a field that can be turned off? If you still need to keep it in, maybe try including the field name in your question.
What if you asked something like:
‘Which channel had the most processed payments in 2024 status change time’
or ‘top channel for processed status code in 2024 status change time’
Once you receive the right response, you can add your original question format to the question variants section:
Hi @jayakumarim,
Following up here to see if you had any additional questions? Additionally, I wanted to share that it seems they’ve added an additional feature that now allows you to change the measure being utilized:
Once you ask a question and receive an answer, under the ‘interpreted as:’ section, you can now switch out the main field being used to generate your answer. So if the question returns the wrong field, you can swap out to the correct one, verify your answer and that will be used moving forward.
Let me know if you have any additional questions, otherwise, if we do not hear back within the next 3 business days, I’ll close out this topic.
Hi @jayakumarim,
Since we haven’t heard back, I’ll go ahead and close out this topic. However, if you have any additional questions, feel free to create a new post in the community and link this discussion for relevant information if needed.
