Looking at the results from the describe-analysis-definition, I have some questions. First, what are these errors and how do I fix them? Is there a way to see which filters and filter groups are referenced here in the quicksight UI?
Another issue is that the datasets that are being pulled in are not fully accurate. For example, dataset A has been replaced by dataset B. However, when I run this command, dataset A is displayed in the results with the dataset id of dataset B. Also, some calculated fields that were used in the past and are now deleted still show up. Any idea why?
Last question is relating to the CLI in general. If anyone here is well versed in using it, what do you use it for most and how useful would you say it is?
You should be able to see the filters associated with visuals. If you are getting an error like that you should be able to see a visual that has an error on it.
In regards to the dataset not being found… I would look to open up a support case. That shouldn’t be happening.
Here are the steps to open a support case. If your company has someone who manages your AWS account, you might not have direct access to AWS Support and will need to raise an internal ticket to your IT team or whomever manages your AWS account. They should be able to open an AWS Support case on your behalf. Hope this helps!
